Every year, Twitch releases its annual recap, a look back for its user base to see their stats to share and remind their communities of the many viral moments throughout the past year. ​For the coming 2023, Twitch wanted to do things a little differently. As a platform largely for the many gaming communities, they created a game that champions a fan favorite emote the :DinoDance: as it runs a platform style game through all the many moments of Twich 2022.
Twitch Social x DEPT was tasked with creating a social companion to the release of the web-based game. Our creative consisted of lead-up content to drive awareness and hype for the Recap in the form of paying homage to the popular games (and the CEO Dan Clancy) and engaging their communities in the social spaces they meet the most: @Twitch on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
As Art Director of the account, I was in charge of all direction between design, motion, and edit and facilitated the collaboration between creative and design.
